Manage Storage Volume

In the Storage Pool chapter, user can manage volumes there of a specified storage pool, in this chapter, user can manage all volumes in one interface.

Select a Volumes in the main interface of FlexSDS Scale-out Storage, all volumes will show up.

Here user can see all volumes in the cluster, select one volume, user can see volume’s general information in General Page, and manage ACLs of the volume, for ACLs, please see Authorization chapter.

Add Volume, see Create Storage Volume chapter.

Delete, check on the checkbox of a volume, then click the Delete link, the confirm box shows.

Click the OK button to remove the volume, remove volume will destroy all data in the volume.

Attach, attach iSCSI, iSER or NVMe-oF target to the volume, check on the checkbox of a volume, then click the Attach link, the Add Target to Existing Volume shows.

Choose Target Type, iSCSI, iSER or NVMe-oF

Specify Target IQN/NQN

Choose CHAP, IP Authorization, Concurrent Access.

Click the OK button to attach the target.

Detach, detach a target from the volume, check on the checkbox of a volume, then click the Detach link, the confirm box shows.

Click the OK button to detach it.

Expand, expand volume capacity or quota, check on the checkbox of a volume, then click the Expand link, the Expand Volume Size box shows.

Specify New Size and Quota, click the OK button to expand the volume.
